F.A.Q.

1. Let the seller know you haven’t received the item(s).
2. While you’re waiting on a response check the status of the item(s) being shipped with the any tracking information you were provided the by the seller.
3. If you do not receive your items please contact us through our Contact us page and we will be sure to take immediate action to help resolve the situation between you and the seller.
   
4. If you have had trouble with a seller you can also give the Seller a rating to notify other buyers that they may not want to purchase Items from them. This also allows Contractors Overstock to monitor who is trustworthy and who is not.

1. Any credible shipping service the buyer and seller choose to use may provide tracking information and we encourage you to request it. You should discuss tracking information with both the seller and shipping service prior to having your product shipped.
2. *DISCLAIMER: Contractors Overstock is not responsible for the shipping and tracking of any and all orders. Shipping is based upon the terms of agreement between the buyer and seller.

1. Click Register at the top right of the Contractorsoverstock.com website.
2. Fill out the registration form and CAPTCHA then continue that’s it you're DONE! You are now considered a buyer. If you would like to sell an item (post an AD) you will be asked to purchase an ad listing for a small fee and then any additional add-ons you may desire to boost the visibility of your item. 
3. Please note the only difference between a buyer and seller account is the purchase of an ad listing.

1. Login to your account.
2. Go to POST NEW LISTING on the navigation bar
3. Follow the Ad posting wizard – we make our website easy to use!

1. Assuming you are logged in – Go to My Profile under your account name at the top right of the navigation bar.
2. You will now be at your dashboard look under Active Listings to see, edit or delete your listing.

2. You will now be at your dashboard look under Active Listings to see, edit or delete you listing. – Click Edit and then go through the Ad wizard again with all of your information for the Ad pre-filled and purchase the add and whichever add-ons you would like again.
3. *Please note all Ad listings are for 30 days after which they can be re-listed unless you are a mass upload client. To become a mass upload client please go to the navigation bar and click POST NEW LISTING and then Start Multiple Listings Process.
4. Alternatively, you will receive an email when your listing expires offering to re-list your Ad for another 30 days.

1. You can find a seller’s trust rating by going to an Ad of the seller in question and looking at the top right there will be a minimum of 1 star and a maximum of 5 stars the more stars the better. There will also be a link to comments about other buyers experience with that seller and why they left the rating they did.

1. After you make a purchase you will be sent an email to rate the seller. We recommend you have your product for a few days before rating the seller.

1. You can post as many Ads as you would like. You can also upgrade all Ad listings with addons. However, there are additional fees depending on which addon you choose.

1. Click on the Ad you are interested in contacting the seller about. Then use the contact form on the right hand side of the Ad to send an email to the seller.

1. Please contact Contractors Overstock customer service via Contact Us Page. We will look into the matter and contact you as soon as possible.

1. NO, please post a set price, do not solicit bidding and do NOT link to auctions elsewhere.

1. We encourage our sellers to use a Service like Paypal which has buyer protection.
2. Some transactions occur outside of the Contractors Overstock website ex. Cash, Certified or Cashier check, corporate account, etc. Please be aware that with these methods you are purchasing at your own RISK!
3. Always get a receipt directly from the seller!

1. Any and all paid listings will not receive a refund for reason or circumstances. ContractorsOverstock.com is not responsible for any loss or damages that may result directly or indirectly from any listings that members (buyers, sellers and advertisers) post on ContractorsOverstock.com
2. For buyers purchasing items from a seller this is why we encourage a service like PayPal.

Add-on's are purchased on a per listing basis.

Spotlight Listing: Display your listing on the homepage's spotlight carousal for everyone to see.

Premium Listing: Display your listing on all sub-categories of the main category your listing is listed. Ex if your selling an electrical outlet your listing would be under the main category Electrical. This means your premium add-on would show your listing under all the sub-categories within Electrical.

Featured Listing: Display your listing at the top of the sub-category your item is listed in.
